Turkey Tail Mushroom Tincture

Turkey tail (Trametes versicolor) is a colorful woodland fungus named for its layered bands, which resemble the feathers of a turkey's tail. Known as yun zhi in China and kawaratake in Japan, turkey tail has a long history of use in East Asian herbal traditions.

Turkey tail is especially valued for its polysaccharides, including beta-glucans, which have been studied for their relationship to immune function. Certain standardized turkey tail extracts have been investigated alongside conventional cancer treatments in clinical settings.
